Today is the 12th day of our El Camino and from French village of Saint Jean Pied de Port, which lies in the Pyrenees, we have already walked about 250 kilometers. I admit that at this time, we are less active on our blog, but I have never found the power and the will to write something.

Today, we met James, the kind english man of our years … With easy steps he was reaching us and bringing us with his positivity to the next village. Among other things, he told us that El Camino saying is: “Always choose another bar or restaurant in the village, and you will always eat and drink well.”

We took his advice. We hurried to another lodge and settled in one of our best accommodations (so far). We feel very nice in this “albergue” ( accommodation for pilgrims). The owner would do almost everything for Ana. But what we liked the best was the food!

We also met several slovenians on the way, with whom we talked about a lot of things. Each of them had a special life story and a reason to find himself on Jakob’s path. In general, we are pleasantly surprised at the attitude of co-pilgrims. They often give us a positive word and encourage us to be brave, because we want to travel the whole route all the way to Santiago and further to Finisterra. They often take pictures along the way, and with the greeting “Buen Camino!” They wish us good luck on the go. With their and your support, we (even) feel better and we know that we will succeed.

In the last few days, we are a little disturbed by the weather, so we often wear raincoats during the trip.
