Until our departure is exactly two months, exactly two months of staying in Slovenia. At work, however, a little less, we are counting the days and making the lines on the calendar. What we can not believe is that we made a step forward or into an unknown. It leaves behind the poor foundations of life that have ruined us. Many of you do not understand and you think: you will leave the job, and not a bad one. For the rest, however, you do not know exactly where to go, what will you do there, and that with a two year old girl.
Both of us are not doing too many goals for the future and we are not afraid of anything, because we will not have everything planned and because we do not know where our destiny will lead us. Therefore, sometimes we are irresponsible to some of the parents. But from our point of view, we are parents who want to offer their daughter the whole world and the time spend together.
That’s exactly why we like this decision so much, because it is without rules, without a must do it, and it’s so unpredictable that we will keep up to date. Even in the car, when we drive at night, we can not see all the way through our unknown road, but our automobile headlights slowly reveal the meter per meter, from the bend to the next bend or to the next section of the road. That is how it is with our lives and we will not let our airplane of dreams to remain on “solid ground”, because it is meant to fly and discover our beautiful world.
Seven years ago, we dreamed for the first time how we would travel the whole South Pacific, explore and cross all the islands, from the smallest to the larger. This desire then lived quietly throughout us all the time, but we were still immature for this decision. In the meantime, attempts were made to buy a house in our beloved Slovenia and create a happy family life. But is the house really necessary for happiness? Then we went four years ago on a trip to New Zealand and came back even more uncertain and confused. The moment we drove home from the airport, we had such a great desire to find happiness in the land of a long white cloud, because it completely fascinated us.
We tried first with a working holiday visa, which was sold out every year. We applied to various search portals and searched for any opportunity to grab her and leave. But time passed, Ana was born, and we were wondering how to proceed.
We only know that we have made the right decision for our family. Is not the most beautiful thing in the world to do things and decisions from the heart?
